Inspired by nature, travel, and a love of classical art, my paintings explore beauty of colour, depth, and texture. I particularly enjoy blending rich, earthy tones and experimenting with layers to create movement and atmosphere. I draw from past travels, embracing the natural surroundings I'm lucky enough to live near and a classical style of painting I've grown to appreciate.
Life’s health challenges have given me a renewed appreciation for the beauty in simple things. Painting offers me a sense of calm and freedom, a chance to lose myself in the creative process. I reside in Maple Bay on Vancouver Island, Canada.
